Amber Morton, Controller
Amber graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. Soon after, she joined BDG Dental Services handling Accounts Payable and related functions. Over the years Amber has assisted in growing the Accounting Department to meet our dental offices’ expanding needs. She is now the Controller for BDG Dental Services and oversees the Accounting Team which is responsible for A/P, deposit processing, payment reconciliation, bookkeeping, and expense tracking, among many other tasks.
Amber aspires to continue leading the Accounting Department into the future with increased efficiency, internal controls, and innovation. A business is only as strong as its various operating parts which is why Amber takes a lot of pride in her role and contributions to the Accounting Department and overall success of BDG Dental Services.
Shawnee Ballestero, Internal Accounts Manager
Shawnee was born and raised in California and has been with BDG since May 2010.
Shawnee is the manager of all of the internal auditing for BDG and is key member of our corporate department. Shawnee is amazingly talented when it comes to all things numbers, she strives for efficiency and is a real pleasure to work with!
Shawnee enjoys soccer, swimming, reading, hiking and anything outdoors! We are so happy to have Shawnee as a part of BDG!
Sharon Huang, Business Operations Project Manager
Sharon joined BDG in Year 2012. She has a Master degree in Analytical Chemistry and extensive experiences of Quality Assurance/Quality Control in various fields.Sharon is very excited of being part of the BDG support team and being able to contribute her expertise and experiences to help BDG grow.
Sharon’s department is mainly responsible of implementing company wide systems, policies and standards, and facilitating new office openings and office closings with all needs in a timely manner. Her team is also responsible of managing the inquiries and or requests received from all our offices.
Sharon loves enjoying good food with friends and family together. She also likes to traveling, playing badminton and watching movies in her spare times.
Bridgit Fly, Director of Education
Bridgit has never been defined by a title. Since joining BDG in 2008 she has served in many positions and worn different hats to expand her knowledge, achieve mastery, and seek innovation, improvement and efficiency in all she does at BDG. Her core motives are driven by the BDG mission statement, particularly in the growth and development of the valued people of the organization. Her wide range of experience and knowledge in the dental industry spans two decades.
Bridgit began her journey as a dental assistant when she achieved her Dental Assisting Certification from the Institute of Applied Technology in 1996. Over the following 9 years Bridgit enhanced her Dental Assisting skills in many areas including Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Pedodontics, and General Dentistry. In 2006 Bridgit transitioned into an administrative role where she mastered treatment coordination, front office patient care, and office management.
In her time at BDG, Bridgit has completed multiple training courses to further her professional development. She completed valuable courses sponsored by reputable dental coaching organizations, attended a myriad of dental seminars, and received training certifications from both John Maxwell, and DiSC behavior coaching.
Currently, Bridgit is a trailblazer for professional development at BDG. She develops and facilitates management and leadership courses. She has presented a multitude of workshops, training and development courses, doctor and hygienist study groups, tutorials and orientations. Bridgit also produces in-house training videos that are hosted on the company training website that aids in the growth and training of team members.
Bridgit is from West Valley City, Utah, and enjoys cooking, camping, karaoke, and spending quality time with her husband and children.
Rebecca Wang, Enterprise Implementation Specialist
Rebecca moved to Las Vegas with her family when she was seventeen years old, and received her bachelor’s degree in Finance from University of Las Vegas, Nevada. Before she joined BDG in May, 2012, she specialized in accounting and auditing in hospitality and real estate.
With her background in accounting, Rebecca started with the company as an Internal Accounts Auditor. Then, she took on the newly created role of Enterprise Implementation Specialist. She develops and researches tools and add-on solutions to reach maximum efficiency with our dental management software Dentrix Enterprise. Her role also provides support and training to our staff on daily basis. She’s very grateful and honored to be part of BDG family. She strives for continuous personal and professional growth to add value to self and others. During her downtime, Rebecca enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and spending quality times with family and friends.
Deborah Brown, Customer Service Manager
Deborah was born in Houston , Texas, but grew up in sunny Southern California. Her first job out of high school was as a chair-side assistant for a general dentist in Simi Valley, Calif. Deborah loved the field from the very beginning and found that she had a way with people. She also has been a dentistry receptionist, and an office manager, and even worked for a medical management corporation in Salt Lake City, Utah as the Operations Manager. Deborah also spent some time as a dental assistant instructor, which she found very rewarding. She continued her education in S.L.C., Utah. and the University of Houston, Houston, Texas.
As the customer service manager for BDG, she has found a purpose to utilize the many years of experience she has. The way we treat our patients is with the utmost importance and is critical to the success of any endeavor. It is Deborah’s sincere desire to share her enthusiasm for the field of dentistry in general, and specifically the manner in which we interact with one another and our valued patients.
Rachel Amato, Accounts Payable
Rachael was born and raised in Upstate New York and joined BDG in March of 2013. She graduated from Hartwick College in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Rachael began her career here as a corporate assistant and was recently promoted to the Accounts Payable position.
In her spare time Rachael enjoys horseback riding, watching Netflix, and spending time with her husband and chihuahua. Rachael continues to look forward to all of the great opportunities and exciting growth here at BDG.
Roland Pischinger, Insurance Department Manager
Roland Pischinger has been with BDG for 2 years. Initially hired as an A/R specialist for our biggest office, Roland was invited to work on Insurance Department team. Roland was given the opportunity to take the leadership role within his team a year ago. He currently has a small team of three people that handle tasks ranging from insurance check posting and approving patient refunds all the way to credentialing all our providers.
Roland came to BDG with 14 years of dental experience. He enjoys finding new ways to complete typical daily tasks to help BDG streamline their processes and take things to the next level.
Paul Romero, Director of Concept and Resource
Born and raised in California, Paul has evolved with imagination and inspiration over the years. He began his journey of creativity in 1990 as a Disney cast member. Later down the road he interned for ABC television while learning production value and producing. As a jack of all trades he even became a puppeteer and built sets with themes. Currently he joined BDG and created the role of Director of Concept and Resource. During his intial beginning there, created and produced his first commercial themed pediatric dental office.
One of Paul’s hobbies include film making. Back in 2004 he wrote, produced and directed his first independent film project. He enjoys spending time with his wife Josephine and their daughter. His passion is with creating breathtaking themes that are ever changing and to widen the imagination of business to a whole new level. Paul simply enjoys designing and learning new ways to enhance commercial space or any blueprint that lands in his path.
Ramona-Lisa Johnson, HR Specialist
Joining BDG Dental Services in 2016, Ramona-Lisa has had over 10 years of working in the field of Dentistry.
Ramona-Lisa has her Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administrative Management and Certifications in Human Resources, Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology. In the last 10 years in the field of Dentistry she has had the opportunity to work in dental clinics all over the county as well as in Europe and in many various aspects of the field to include Dental Assisting, Human Resources and as an Office Manager.
Though out the years Ramona has grown a passion for Human Resources and the ability to help grow individuals and her company towards success through quality leadership and training. Ramona- Lisa believes in hard work, dedicated passion, quality training, and feels that’s no success is impossible if you put forth the effort!
